Product performance took precedence over all else. The recipes were to be 100% natural, have the highest quality ingredients, and be balanced and complete nutritionally. We needed variations based on meat type and pet species.
We also had to ensure the product would be highly palatable, naturally.

We locked the total preparation to serving time at under 4 minutes with a simple ‘portion, hydrate, rest, and serve’ process.
