Launched in 2021, Doofyballs retails a range of natural dog treats across India. The brand has successfully established a strong offline and online presence in a short span of time. As the brand expands, its products continue to delight pets and pet parents.
Background: Pacifying the Need for Pace
Kushagra Chandel, the founder of Doofyballs, reached out to us when finding a pet treats manufacturer for his yet-to-launch range of dog treats. He intended to create a brand with superior-quality products accessible to the modern pet parent.
Kushagra had his mind set on starting up and working with a manufacturer that enabled him to do so quickly. He also had his parameters of quality standards and social responsibility established.
Upon discussion with Kushagra, we identified the following primary requirements.
1. Include fast-moving items
Since the brand was just starting up, it was essential to start with products that the target audience recognized to build the first layer of familiarity and trust.
2. Induct pillar products
The first round of launch had to include pet treat products that could be established as flagship Doofyballs offerings for the future.
3. Offer a wide range
The selected products needed to offer a range of meats, flavors, price points, et cetera so the brand could analyze and determine its target market for future launches.
4. Find a balance of quality & cost
Kushagra hoped to ease entry into the healthy pet treats market by offering options that retailed below the existing premium natural dog treats without compromising the integrity of the products.

Doofyballs launched a range of five dog treats manufactured by Innomalous within one month since we first connected. This range included two dehydrated meat jerky, one dehydrated single-ingredient vegetarian treat, and two formed meaty treats.
Our low MOQs for startups enabled Kushagra to launch multiple products right at the beginning. He was able to save on product development costs and choose from our curated catalog of pet food products in unique flavors and combinations.

The brand is now present in over 100 offline pet supplies shops across north-Indian cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dehradun, and more. They are also present on 13+ e-commerce marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, Supertails, and other online pet stores.
Pet parents and influencers show their appreciation for the quality of Doofyballs products with love and positive reviews. This response translates into a consistent 1.4X month-on-month revenue growth for the brand.
